A versatile military vehicle simulator that puts you in control of an impressive array of land, air, and sea vehicles. What makes Tank SIM stand out is its diverse selection of drivable options - from standard tanks and Humvees to attack helicopters and even racing cars. While we couldn't quite figure out how to blow anything up during our playthrough (perhaps that feature is still in development), the joy of experimenting with different vehicles and exploring the minimalist desert landscape proved surprisingly engaging. The simple controls make it easy to switch between vehicles and immediately start maneuvering around the map, with each option offering distinct handling characteristics that keep the exploration fresh and interesting.
About the Game
Tank SIM offers a sandbox-style military vehicle experience with a focus on vehicle diversity and exploration. The game features a clean, minimalist aesthetic with simple textures and models that keep the focus on the driving mechanics. The desert environment provides plenty of open space to test each vehicle's capabilities, and the day/night cycle adds visual variety to your expeditions.
The multiplayer functionality allows you to see other players exploring the same map, though interaction seems limited at this stage of development. The simple UI provides clear information about available vehicles, controls, and player status without cluttering the screen. While the combat functionality wasn't immediately apparent during our testing, the pure joy of vehicle experimentation made for an engaging experience nonetheless.
